Session Title:

Engineering Developments Enabling the Virtual Datacenter - VMware, Cisco and EMC

Session Abstract:

Customers are asking Cisco, EMC and VMware to help build datacenters with 100% virtualization as the core design principle. This affects how you design your datacenter at every layer, how you manage it, and how you protect it. It also changes how the vendors that support you need to design their products across the spectrum of servers, storage, networking and backup and management tools. They need to be Built for the Cloud-OS.
Transformation comes as the infrastructure needs to understand and respond to the vApp demands for dynamic performance, availability and cost. This is the first step towards the Private Cloud
Cisco, EMC and VMware share what they are doing together to help customers virtualize any workload, for any application, at any scale and to integrate our common developments to make the server, network and storage layers transparent. We will share the results of testing and customer deployments, as well as roadmap technologies. We will share joint solution testing and benchmarking findings both success and operational limits. We will demonstrate how these technologies integrate, and share a specific customer's experience.
